Mark Turner

Mark has been competing in car audio competitions for over 6 years. He's making his mark in the Pro 600 class with his classy  BMW 330i. This is the type of competition where every detail counts, and his car is fully outfitted for it! Now Mark is focusing on high-profile European-wide events like EMMA; before that he was a regular on the IASCA circuit. Mark is chief audio installer at Turners Alarms and Audio, and he's been involved in the business for 30 years. He started out doing alarms, and has gradually evolved into a well-known audio expert. This is the place to come if you want the very best in car audio installation! The shop also has a team called Team Turners, which has seen around 30 customers competing in the last 6 years. This team is taking the UK competition by storm.

System Highlights

Mark's fine-tuned car is outfitted with the best of the best car audio equipment - Pioneer's Optical Digital Reference (ODR) system and high-end RS speakers. The RS-D7R CD tuner connects digitally to the three amplifiers (a RS-A9 and two RS-A7's), which then transfer the purest signal on to the handcrafted RS speakers. Mark is using TS-T01RS super wide-range tweeters, TS-M01RS mid-bass drivers and TS-W01RS subwoofers. Mark has also used aluminium and brass inserts to highlight the ODR components - a classy finishing touch. It's clear that this set-up has been designed and installed with a desire for sound perfection!

Mark's vision of the installation is to maintain the overall style of this unique vehicle. Every detail has been considered: he has sought out the most select materials to match the original BMW interior. Mark also has a creative approach to his installation work. He's transformed the vehicle's cup holders into storage space for tools and other hardware - practical for last minuteadjustments during competitions!
